About Paige

I created this site when I was laid off from my job in 2009. I have adhered to simple living principles for many years, and Amy Dacyczyn who wrote The Tightwad Gazette is my heroine!   At present, I have a great part-time job with Stray Cat Alliance.  I’m also an avid Iyengar yoga practioner and I love to hike and travel.

My husband David and I are transplanted Southerners (Louisiana and Alabama) and we now live in Los Angeles, California. We share our lives with our feline companions, Shylo, Hunter, Rorshach, Pippy, and our turtle companion, Speed. We all have lots of fun and live in a beautiful area of the world with fabulous weather, abundant opportunity, and great diversity. Every day I’m especially thankful for my friends, family, and good health. The felines are especially grateful for the abundant supply of food in our household! We all have each other and are very wealthy!! It really doesn’t get much better than this!
